Expositie: Helena Kaori Maeda & Frank Hietbrink sculptures
Movement in metal, wood and textile.
The combination of Kaori's drawings, paintings and sketches and the visual form, sculpture and handcraft by Frank transforms their creative ideas from 2D to 3D, complementing each other's work.
Together they're making imaginary forms, most based on nature, shaped into metal, paper, paintings, drawings, wood and textile. One example of their work is the series of moving "jelly fishes" lamps from 2000.
This exhibition will show their next sequence of projects, bringing together previous and new associations.
